Casual Connect puts a spotlight on London

Each year, Casual Connect organizers carefully select venues across the world for the event series that spans the USA, Europe, Eastern Europe, and Asia. This year, Casual Connect’s European conference returns to London for just the second time in its 12 years running. As the capital of the United Kingdom, London has a storied history and a panoply of impressive landmarks to match.

Within a few blocks of the Thames, Buckingham Palace, and Big Ben, and across the street from Westminster Abbey, you’ll find the impressive Queen Elizabeth II Centre (QEII), which was officially opened by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1986. For more than 30 years, this has been London’s heart of the event industry. In fact, QEII just last year took home an award for Venue of the Year at the AEO Awards. The Centre markets itself as a “stage for game-changers, innovators, and thought leaders across industries, politics, and big brands.”

There’s no more fitting place for Casual Connect London than QEII, which offers enough room for 2,500 professionals. QEII is in a prime location, with around 4,000 hotel rooms available within a 10-minute walk from the venue. Casual Connect London, taking place May 28-30, should see upwards of 1,500 attendees absorbing knowledge, networking, and enjoying the Indie Prize showcase.

When attendees are not enjoying a session, they can relax in QEII’s sitting area, which boasts incredible views of both Parliament and Westminster Abbey. And after a day of talks and networking at Casual Connect parties, attendees can continue to soak up London’s nightlife at nearby pubs, restaurants, and ongoing cultural attractions across the city.

Casual Connect London is shaping up to be an incredible event this year with talks already confirmed from Peter Molyneux, Ian Livingstone, Richard Bartle, Matias Myllyrinne, among others. There’s still time to submit your session or panel here, and tickets can be purchased here
