We’re a little over a week out from GameDaily Connect Asia 2019, so it’s time to start looking over the wonderful works of talented indie creators coming from across the world for a chance to win the various awards at the Indie Prize showcase.

Eno’s Umbrella is 2D platform action mobile game. We amplified the air resistance experienced by the umbrella cover in the game to make it a pivot in the air. Therefore, a series of controls can be achieved in the game including gliding, rotating in the air, pulling/pushing the character upward/backward, and so on. Meanwhile, we designed lots of interactable elements and obstacles in game levels to maximize the function of the umbrella. The game control is not as usual as other mobile games. We tried to use level design to help players gradually master the use of this magic umbrella to help Eno fight through all difficulties.
