Casual Connect Europe is returning to London this year. From May 28 – 30, at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, there will be over 100 leaders from both established and emerging markets of the games industry sharing best practices and insights into game design, esports, next-generation technology, funding, mobile ecosystems, and more. The speakers list is continuing to grow, and as more rich content is added to the Casual Connect tracks, you’ll be able to read about it on GameDaily. We’ll also be introducing you to some top companies that are participating in the conference via the official Casual Connect YouTube channel

Today, we’re happy to share that Casual Connect London will feature a session from MoPub’s Vincent Pagnard-Jourdan, Head of Publisher Partnerships. MoPub provides mobile app publishers and developers across the globe with tools and solutions to maximize their ad revenue. In his talk during the Growth Track, Pagnard-Jourdan, will explain some real techniques to tap into the popular hypercasual gaming apps market. By looking at why and how certain hypercasual apps have found success, Pagnard-Jourdan will explain to attendees what app developers need to pay attention while providing actionable insights for their monetization strategy.

In the past two years… while casual gaming apps kept growing and topping the charts, we’ve seen the emergence of ad-supported hyper-casual games surpassing traditional mobile games in popularity,” Pagnard-Jourdan noted. “This was made possible by the simple, easy-to-grasp mechanics of these games (creating a very low barrier to entry for users), while at the same time app publishers have leveraged ad formats such as rewarded video or fullscreen ads that yield high CPMs. The income generated from these ads can then be reinvested in user acquisition to further fuel the growth of their user base, creating a continuous growth cycle.”

Casual Connect is now part of the Greenlit Content family (GameDaily’s parent company). The show is continuing to broaden its focus, but at its heart, the event series has always been about meeting with peers in the games business. Casual Connect’s  networking parties  offer attendees the opportunity to mingle with colleagues and make new contacts and friends. GameDaily looks forward to meeting you there.
